Conner Turns 11!
It was quite the day today as Conner celebrated his 11th birthday with family. Kids party is coming up in a few weeks! Stay tuned for reports of the upcoming San Francisco 49er game we are going to attend!
For the day's agenda, Conner was in charge. Morning routine consisted of sleeping in and then up for a bacon sandwich. Mid morning snack was a donut before turning on the first football game of the day. We watched that and then started the second game of the day around noon. At half time we ducked out to the Hopyard for a delicious pulled pork sandwich. The restaurant was chosen for its many televisons, all tuned to football.
Back to the house after lunch to wrap up the second game and then outside to pass the ball around for an hour or so before the evening game started. After the first quarter Conner decided on a bacon cheeseburger at Pete's Brass Rail, which of course has many televisions too. We hung out and ate until half time before quickly returning to the house.
The game ended close to 8:30, so it was then time for PJs and then back upstairs for a Christmas movie, "A Charlie Brown Christmas". A perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and end a very football day. All in all, a very good day.
Happy Birthday Conner!
