Ah business travel - so exciting and fun right? Wrong.....starts with my "black car" being a blue Honda Accord from 1995 that I share with a fellow partner after we wait 30 mins - takes almost 2 hrs to airport - plane delayed in JFK - board an hour late - amazingly gorgeous new plane with commanding seats - settle in - pilot indicates we r leaving shortly - pull out and get to runway - luv it - listen to music - read a book - somehow 2 hours pass and we have not moved - then comes the announcement - due to FAA rules the pilots have now timed out and we will head back to gate and there are no further flights tonight - sit on runway for another 45 mins - get to gate and American provides us with a 1-800 number to rebook flight and no help with hotels - thank goodness for Audra - she manages everything - gets me hotel - go up to room - open door and there is a naked lady on the bed - YIKES - never had hat before!! So now I have dead bolted my door (in a different room) and looking forward to leaving in am - different airlines - hoping in have better luck! The total NY experience!!!
